Want to create a focal point where you will stand at your ceremony?

Often couples spend a lot of time considering their reception decorations, but don’t consider decorating where they will stand.

For marriages and civil unions, you may want to create a visual backdrop.  It could be elevated, or it could be on the ground.

The celebrant might stand between the couple, or to one side.

For a recent winter wedding in my home, the bride wanted to create a focus with balloons.  She hired My Party Box to decorate a large circle frame.  It was delightful, and the couple were able to use some of the balloons in their photos in the Auckland Domain.  It created a festive atmosphere.

Another bride decided that for her summer wedding, she wanted a floral display in front of where the couple and I stood together.  It was a large wedding with over 100 people and the guests were able to see the flowers as they were located on the ground in front of the couple.  It was a blend of hydrangeas and white snowball flowers.  The venue was The Hunting Lodge in Waimauku.

No matter how you decide to decorate, as a marriage and civil union celebrant, I will help you create  a personalised wedding that you will remember for all the right reasons!
